Parking pedal
The parking pedal, as the name suggests, is a pedal that limits power, namely the foot brake (service brake) pedal, which is used for deceleration and parking. It is one of the five major control components for car driving. The frequency of use is very high. The driver's control directly affects the driving of the car.
Prohibited occasions
1. It is recommended to use low gear for small passenger cars when going down long slopes, and use engine braking to achieve deceleration, avoiding the use of brake pedals as much as possible;
2. When large or heavy-duty vehicles go down long slopes, remember not to step on the brakes for a long time and use the engine to slow down; The reason is to prevent brake failure.
Cab position
The parking pedal, as the saying goes, is used to press the brake pedal. There is a small pedal connected to the brake lever on the brake pedal, so it is also called the "parking pedal". There is also a small pedal on the clutch, called the clutch pedal. The clutch is on the left, and the brake is on the right (parallel to the throttle, with the right being the throttle).
Working principle
Fix a wheel or disc on the high-speed shaft of the machine, install corresponding brake shoes, belts or discs on the machine base, and generate braking torque under external force.
