Solution to wrinkling problem of stamped parts

1. Solve wrinkling problems from the parts, stamping parts  Add wrinkle absorbing ribs to severely wrinkled parts of the product, and implement process supplementation such as opening process holes to release and reduce internal stress. Process supplementation is a way to solve wrinkling problems without affecting the welding surface, matching surface, or performance of the workpiece. 2. To solve the wrinkling problem from a technological perspective, (1) use SE analysis to identify and solve the problem in advance. Wrinkles were found on the A part of the left/right front crossbeam body of the front seat. SE analysis was conducted to solve the wrinkling problem by adding grooves without affecting the components. This is a typical example of using SE to help identify and correct problems in stamping parts during the process of new car models. (2) In the early stage, problems were discovered and solved through software modeling. Soft molds can fully verify the data of the parts, validate the stamping process, provide a basis for the design of stamping molds, and prevent problems that may occur with soft molds in the later stages of mold manufacturing. (3) Adopting secondary forming. The shape of the parts at the lower corners of the front and rear door inner panels is such that the boundary of the parts at the corners is far away from the high platform surface. If formed in one go, it will form a large shed shape, and the material will accumulate at the corners without any flow, causing wrinkles at the corners. Moreover, due to the deep stretching of the panels and the insufficient surrounding pressure, it will cause the material to be difficult to bear and crack severely. Therefore, the forming process adopts secondary forming. (4) Resolve wrinkling issues through debugging. In the case where process supplementation cannot solve wrinkling, it is particularly important for fitter debugging. How to make correct judgments depends on the actual situation and specific problems. Generally, the debugging methods are generally referred to as follows: a Adjust the magnitude of the edge pressure. When wrinkles are evenly generated around the workpiece, it should be judged as insufficient pressing force, and gradually increasing the pressing force can cause wrinkles. B Adjust the fillet radius of the concave mold. If the radius of the concave die corner is too large, it will increase the suspended part of the billet and weaken the ability to control wrinkles. When adjusting, the radius of the concave die corner can be appropriately reduced. C Adjust the gap between the pressing surfaces. The method of adjusting the gap between the pressing surfaces is to adopt the principle of tight inside and loose outside (uniform feeding on the pressing surface). D Adjust the layout of stretching bars. In general, when the stretching part is a conical or spherical part, the side wall will be suspended at the beginning of stretching, which is prone to wrinkling. At this time, it is necessary to increase the number of stretching ribs or change the shape of the stretching ribs to increase the radial tensile stress.
