Stamping production line and related equipment for stamping parts

1. Current situation of stamping production line

At present, the main stamping production lines of large domestic automobile factories are composed of 3-6 single machines, operated manually, with an average production rate of 180-330 pieces/h. The equipment adopts photoelectric protection and dual hand buttons. The newly built stamping line during the "Eighth Five Year Plan" period has a movable workbench and mold clamping mechanism, and its performance is compared. At the end of the 8th Five Year Plan period, Chongqing Changan Automobile Company built an automated stamping production line in China. FAW Volkswagen has built two 8000kN three coordinate multi station press machines, filling the gap in China's automated stamping production.

The manual stamping line adopts a hydraulic lifting platform for feeding, a belt conveyor to complete the transmission between stamping processes, and manual packing. Waste disposal mainly involves the transportation and packaging of bulk materials, with only a few manufacturers using underground waste conveying systems. The main problems with manual stamping lines are as follows:

a. Manual operation is prone to bumps and scratches, and the quality of stamped parts cannot be guaranteed;

b. Easy to cause personal accidents;

c. High labor intensity and low production efficiency;

d. The stamping line composed of single machines occupies a large area, consumes more energy, and has more operators, which increases the manufacturing cost of stamping parts. In summary, the stamping lines of Chinese automobile factories are still mainly operated manually, and there are currently many I; The UJ problem needs to be solved. The application of stamping automatic lines and multi station presses is just beginning and still needs to be developed.

2. Development and Application of Stamping Production Line

2.1 Development process of stamping line

The stamping line was originally a single machine production, and then developed into a single machine connected production, gradually strengthening the degree of mechanization and developing into a stamping automatic line. In order to reduce the area, auxiliary equipment, and kinetic energy consumption, and further improve productivity, stamping lines are developing towards combination press production lines and multi station presses.

2.2 Application and Development of Stamping Lines in China

Several new production processes, including multi link single action stamping lines, stamping automatic lines, and medium to large multi station press production lines, will be developed and applied in China. The following introduces the characteristics and applications of various stamping lines. Compared with eccentric gear driven presses, multi link driven presses have the following advantages.

a. The multi link driven press has a variable speed function, which results in slow speed, empty stroke and return stroke during the pressing process, which is beneficial for the drawing and forming of stamped parts and increases the number of strokes, resulting in high productivity.

b. Reverse drawing technology can be used to replace double action presses with single action presses for production. After drawing, the stamped parts can enter the next process without flipping, reducing auxiliary equipment and labor, and facilitating automated production. The cost of a multi link single action press is lower than that of a double action press, which can save equipment investment. c. Strong impact resistance, low equipment noise and production noise.

3. Characteristics and Applications of Stamping Automatic Line

In large-scale automobile production, when the external dimensions of stamped parts are large, manual operation is difficult, production efficiency is low, and expensive equipment is required for production on large multi station presses. In this case, using a stamping automatic line for production is suitable.

The economic plan for using stamping automatic lines is to have over 10000 vehicles. Stamping automatic lines are equipped with magnetic layering devices, oil coating devices, feeding devices, dual material automatic detection devices, flipping devices, shuttle conveyors, programmable loading and unloading automation units with vacuum suction cups, and automatic coding devices. The stamping automatic line has good flexibility and high stamping productivity, with a productivity of about 480 pieces/h. The end effector has a quick change function, with a full line change time of about 3 minutes. The automation part of the large-scale stamping line accounts for about 50% of the investment in the stamping press part, while the production efficiency has been nearly doubled.

A multi link single action stamping automatic line in China, jointly produced by Jinan Machine Tool Factory and ISI Company, was put into use by Changan Automobile Company in Chongqing in November 1995. Shanghai Volkswagen has successively applied automated loading and unloading systems in three stamping automatic lines, successfully transforming ordinary lines into automated stamping lines. The application of stamping automatic line production technology has made a good start in China. Our country's stamping automation line and cutting automation system need to accelerate the pace of localization on the basis of introducing and absorbing technology, and form a full line of domestic production capacity.
