1、 The future of stamping technology in the development of the national economy. Stamping technology belongs to a new process of metal non cutting processing. It can manufacture cold extrusion processes that are difficult to process, such as metal cutting, casting, forging, etc. It uses various sheet materials to produce stamped products of any geometric shape. During the process of processing, drawing, and extruding parts, the cold work hardening effect of steel plates enhances their strength due to their characteristics. According to product design, various methods such as reinforcing ribs, flanges, arcs, and flanges are used to enhance rigidity, thereby replacing thick plate materials with thin plate materials, castings and forgings, and cutting parts with thin plate materials, reducing weight, saving materials, and improving part performance. The current stamping technology is increasingly used in various industries for stamping products, with more and more parts being used in metal products. Although stamping process processing and metal cutting processing are relatively economical in the automotive industry, tractor industry, aviation industry, petroleum industry, and electronics, reasonable process design, tooling design, and production organization, as well as the adoption of reasonable production methods, can achieve high economic benefits.

Due to the development of stamping technology, there is an increasing trend of using stamped products instead of metal cutting processed products. Of course, this is also due to the continuous expansion of the variety of metal materials and the continuous improvement of their mechanical and physical properties, which have created favorable conditions for stamping technology. For example, the tractor stamping factory replaces many metal cutting products with stamped parts.

2、 The basic situation of stamping technology in China at present

The development of stamping technology began after World War I. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China 30 years ago, the development of stamping technology has gone from non-existent to existing, from simple to complex, from processing small shaped parts to processing large shaped parts, from cutting and punching parts to drawing forming, embossing forming, bending forming, flanging forming, etc.

It can be said that it gradually meets the needs of the current national economic development. Although significant achievements have been made in the development of stamping technology, which is playing an increasingly important role in national economic construction, how can it be relatively, economically, and reasonably utilized? Although the research on the plasticity of various metal sheets has gradually adapted to the development of stamping technology, there are still many problems, such as some steel, aluminum, and copper materials having good plasticity but poor rigidity, low hardness, uneven thickness of some materials, and unstable thickness tolerance accuracy. Further research is needed on plasticity, hardness, and rigidity for this purpose.

Has the development of stamping technology over the past thirty years yielded significant benefits? It doesn't seem like it yet, why? Due to the unreasonable design of stamping process and mold, the inappropriate production batch, and the failure to keep up with the standardization, generalization, serialization, and three transformations of stamping products, the corresponding benefits of stamping equipment and stamping molds are not sufficient, resulting in considerable waste. Especially with the rapid progress of product updates, stamping processes cannot keep up, old molds are scrapped if they are not fully utilized, and new molds cannot meet the needs, thus affecting the development of new products. In addition, the unreasonable design of stamping processes has led to the use of machine group layout for stamping equipment layout. Although there are some assembly line layouts, they also affect the efficiency of production. Often, stamping parts have long operating cycles in production, wasting time, manpower and material resources. The trouble caused by the handling of surplus materials.

Avoid stamping parts; Short circuits and electrical connections during use are very important. In the secondary ultrasonic surface treatment with a shorter time, the residue left after the ultrasonic surface cleaning technology is used again for shot peening before the quality inspection of the stamped parts. After completing all the above operations, the stamped parts are separated from the blank sheet and stored separately together. The stamping parts with poor quality of the nail arranging machine are placed in the waste bin, while the qualified stamping parts are directly sent to the packaging workshop.

Technical Measures for Stamping Operation Protection

1. Use stamping protection tools

During the stamping process, protective tools are used to place the product blank into the mold and remove the stamped product and waste, achieving out of mold operations and avoiding direct hand insertion into the mold.

2. Protection of stamping die working area

(1) Install protective devices around the stamping die.

(2) Reasonable design of molds is to reduce the dangerous area of stamping molds.

(3) Design automatic or mechanical feeding.

3. Protection of punch press

(1) Mechanical protection

Push hand style. This is a protective device that is linked to the punch slide and pushes the worker's hand away from the mold mouth through the swing of the baffle. Swing arm handguard device. It is a device that uses the principle of leverage to move hands apart. Handle protection device. It is a device that uses pulleys, levers, and ropes to link workers' hand movements with slider movements.

(2) Dual switch control system

The slider will only activate when both buttons are pressed simultaneously by the stamping worker's hands. That's it, the worker puts their hand into the mold and the possibility of the punch press starting.

(3) Protective grating

Installing a protective grating on a punch press is equivalent to forming a protective zone for the entire hazardous area. When workers enter the protective grating protection zone, the punch press cannot be started.

For metal stamping parts; In the design of the structure of molds, the convenience of feeding, ordering, discharging, and cleaning waste materials should be maximized to reduce the possibility of problems in the use of stamping molds. When facing the processing of large stamping parts, if the operator wants to insert their hands deep into the stamping part mold for operation, they should minimize the range of entry into the mold as much as possible, and shorten the time that a certain part of the body stays in the mold as much as possible. The dangerous area of the mold should be clearly defined, and protective measures and devices should be equipped. For the processing of small stamping parts, it is strictly prohibited for the operator's fingers, wrists, or other parts of the body to enter the stamping part mold area for operation, in order to avoid accidental injuries. Regardless of the type of stamping die, the weight of the die should be indicated on the overall drawing during design for ease of installation. During the disassembly and assembly process of stamping die parts, attention should be paid to protection to avoid the possibility of pinching or cutting hands; At the same time, the mold should be easy to disassemble and store. It is not allowed to produce waste or workpiece missiles during the processing of stamped parts, which may affect the operator's attention or even injure them.
